Storyline
An animation exploring surface perception and the extent to which the inference of hidden depth is justified or a mistake. Particularly with regard to the ideas of Duchamp and Wittgenstein and referencing their shared interest in chess in which it is well known that nothing is hidden. Closely following an essay of the same name by Steven B. Gerrard.
